This is my first time eating here and I definitely recommend if you are in the area come eat the buffet! It is a little pricey but totally worth it! I tried about everything here and I didn't find one thing I didn't like. Loved the lasagna, pizza, and oh yeah hash brown casserole! Definitely will be coming back.

We actually really like Val's pizza. Unfortunately, this sub par location is the closest to our house and regularly screws up. Tonight, we ordered a jumbo 16" pizza and my husband picked it up. He mentioned that it looked small and the cashier said that it was just a really big box.

This is what we ended up with for $25. We called and they initially denied the screw up. After 15 minutes on the phone, we finally reached resolution.

This place has been on a downwards slope for some time now. Been going here off-and-on since around 2003. Back then I was a kid still and there were more food choices; and it was less expensive. 3 people eating usually only came to 20 to 30 something dollars at the time. There were more choices especially at the pasta buffet section; I remember they used to have Rainbow/Garden Rotini all the time, and they used to always have chocolate milk; they would rarely run out back then. The plates, tables & floors were much cleaner back then.

Over the years they decided to get rid of the Rainbow/Garden Rotini and a couple other pastas they used to serve, as well as some pizzas they used to serve - they seem to have less pizzas nowadays - and as of 2019 prices have went up to where if only 2 people are sat in this restaurant, it will cost around 50+ dollars. Plus there's never any chocolate milk here ever anymore; the option is still there but they never refill it unless you get up and tell them to - and they're not friendly about doing it either. One time I had a cup that I took over to the milk fountain, and only a tiny bit came out and filled only the bottom of the cup. I wanted a different glass since there was no more chocolate milk & I decided to get a different drink instead - so I asked the lady at the front for a new glass and she refused to give me a new glass and kept telling me to wait for this guy to refill the chocolate milk fountain (which took forever for him to do).

Also, as of 2019, these people literally have the same exact checkered plates I was eating off of in 2003-2005. Most of the plates are now dirty and caked with residual food from other people's meals - they aren't washed as thoroughly as they were before; I had to look through 6-7 plates before I could find one that was reasonably clean to eat off of. The tables & floors also tend to frequently bear anti-hygienic characteristics such as food crumbs & unknown liquids that haven't been cleaned off, mold stains on the floor, etc...

Since then, I've found this place less appealing. The service here has really went downhill; a grumpy older lady refusing to give me new drink glasses, a guy taking very long to refill the chocolate milk fountain (and only because he was bugged to since I asked about it, otherwise it wouldn't have gotten refilled), less & less foods, prices going up, the plates are dirty now - and they're literally the same plates I ate off of as a kid 16 years ago - shouldn't they have new plates by now? Jeez.

Overall, I don't recommend this place anymore.

It's been a while since we have eaten here and I'm sure this will be the last time.  The last year we were here it was an enjoyable experience.  Place is shabby.  There were only 3 pieces of pizza on the buffet when we arrived and it took 25 minutes before any additional pizzas were brought out.  Same with the pasta. Potato soup is curdled.  Constant wait for food to be replenished.  Spaghetti was hard when it finally arrived on the buffet line.  What a waste of the $103 we spent to eat here tonight.

I echo many of the other statements reviewers have made. This location, and Valentino's in general, have really gone downhill in recent years. We visited this buffet
with other relatives that live out of state hoping to support a local franchise. Restaurant is dirty, understaffed and clearly hasn't seen any TLC in years. Plates, tables and silverware all have a residue on them. Food selection is OK, but is low quality. On top of everything, costs are very expensive. All-in-all, very disappointed.
